FAHQ Racing Sales Guru Chip Wilcox

The good get and the bad don’t.

All I want to do is ride dirt bikes, get laid and eat pizza. It’s a very simple equation and should be the mantra of every man rummaging around on this circular atrocity known as planet Earth.

We know we can’t tackle life alone, so to be successful (or at least not have your brain combust like a Black Cat firecracker), you need help.

I got that help four years ago when Tom Leacu of Massachusetts reached out to me. Together, we initiated the rebirth of FAHQ Racing’s T-shirt sales. After 26 years solo, it was nice to finally get some help, and Tom and I pooled a bit of cash and began to print some of my eclectic dirt bike-themed designs.

Before long, Tom suggested we draft one more soldier to help us disperse the limited edition runs of the T-shirts we were producing. That’s when I met Chip Wilcox, a former service manager at Burt Ives Honda (reportedly one of the oldest Honda dealerships in the U.S.), and now we were three. Our trio now controls the FAHQ some of you see lurking about in the dark shadows of the Internet.

The thing that stands out the most to me about “Chipper the Rippah” is his passion for dirt bikes in general. It’s pure and strong like the never-ending water cascading from Niagara. Not only does Chip take care of all the sales and distribution for FAHQ, but he also finds time to go racing and help other people in the New England area.

Chip, along with his wife Ciaran, also spearhead a Pee Wee holeshot award at J Day Off-Road races, representative of the way they continually embrace the future of the sport. Chip randomly chooses a Pee Wee class and whoever gets the holeshot on the day receives much swag donated by the Wilcoxes and any other sponsors they bring into the mix.

While FAHQ Racing remains a bit of a cult and all of our product is very limited, the message that Chip always tags every sales post with is true: “Get yours before you can’t get yours.”

We don’t have a massive range or endless piles of product to sell; we print off 30-50 shirts and when they’re gone, we move on to the next one—just like you did after you banged your 11th grade girlfriend.

There are only a few really good guys left in this world. Tom Leacu proved he’s one of them by being the first to step up and get FAHQ going again. Chip Wilcox added his name to the FAHQ monument when he stepped in to fill an equally vital role.
