Beer Buzz: Invade the Fort | Dallas Brew Bus

The crew from the The Proper Pint heads out on the The Dallas Brew Bus and tour Panther Island Brewing, Wild Acre Brewing and Community Beer Company all lumped up into one epic bus adventure.

The Dallas Brew Bus is the best way to experience the Dallas Craft Beer scene. Not only is Matt, the head honcho, extremely knowledgable, but his passion bleeds over into every story he tells along the way. They very rarely do the same tour twice (they probably will if you ask nicely), so make sure you grab your tickets as soon as a tour pops up that peaks your beery tastebuds.

For the Invade the Fort tour, we started at Community to gather on the bus. We then headed west to Panther Island Brewing, where we had the brewery to ourselves. Sweet Fang was on tap, a very interesting Peanut Butter Stout that many "non-dark beer drinkers" were enjoying!

Wild Acre was next in the line up and one we were very much looking forward to. Their Red IPA, or India Red Ale, Tarantula Hawk had us sold form the beginning that this brewery would be one to keep your eyes on. This is a must stop brewery, the taproom and outside patio are the best of both worlds for enjoying quality craft beer.

Ending the day at Community Beer Company is never a bad idea. The Oaked Mosaic IPA and Razzy Wit were on tap, which we all pleasantly enjoyed. Their taproom is always a fun time, but we're sure you already know that.

Jump on a Dallas Brew Bus as soon as possible. You won't regret it.
