COAL CENTER, PA. (January 10, 2017) ― The Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/ KR4 Arrive-N-Ride team is pleased to announce the signing of Grant Baylor for the 2017 season.
As we embark on our 3rd season as the Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4 team, we are pleased to announce that Belton, South Carolina native and former two-time GNCC XC2 Champion Grant Baylor has signed with the team for the 2017 season.
Grant has spent the last few years as a factory-supported rider, and was a member of the prestigious 2014 Championship-winning USA ISDE Junior Team.
He will undoubtedly be a podium contender on the AMSOIL GNCC series, and he has his sights set on the 2017 NEPG Championship where he will be competing in all 9 rounds.
Grant joins Jesper Borjesson, Hunter Neuwirth, Tayla Jones on the KR4 Pro team this season and will race the Husqvarna FX450.
"I'm very excited to have the opportunity to work with KR4 for the 2017 season. The team is full of great people who are providing me with all the right tools and support that is needed to win championships. I can't wait to see where 2017 goes!" - Grant Baylor
"I have enjoyed watching Grant come up through the ranks over the years. He is an excellent spokesperson for the sport and a great role model for our youth riders— and we are proud to be the team he has chosen for 2017. He is one of the guys with a style all his own- and we are all eager to work with him, and learn from him. He is an excellent addition to our team. We’re excited!” ―Frank Keegan
Grant is no stranger to the box— at the age of 13 he became the youngest rider to take the overall at a GNCC Youth event. In the same year, he won a GNCC event in the premiere 250A class.
One year later he made GNCC history— by becoming the youngest rider to ever win a 250 A Championship, also winning the overall Amateur Championship same year.
