PALATKA, Fla. (March 9, 2016) - Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4/FAR Arrive-N-Ride team members captured ten top-10 finishes at Sunday's 2016 Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series opener in Palatka, Florida. With 20 riders competing across the Youth, Amateur and Pro ranks, the KR4 Arrive-N-Ride program is the largest team in the GNCC pits.

Coming off a podium finish at his last race, XC1 Pro rider Thad DuVall was ready to put his Husqvarna FC 350 atop the podium in Florida. As the green flag dropped, DuVall didn't get the jump he was looking for but powered through to begin the three-hour race inside the top ten. The West Virginia native soon ran into an issue when he slammed into a tree on lap two, where his day was ultimately ended due to a broken fuel line connector.

"This wasn't the way we wanted to begin the season but I'm already looking forward to bouncing back at round two," DuVall said. "I know that I'm more prepared than I ever have been and have a great group of people surrounding me."

Derek Pacheco put forth an impressive performance in the Senior A (40+) Class to capture fourth place in his first GNCC race aboard the ANR team. In the 4 Stroke A Lites Class, Colin and Conner Keegan each captured a top ten finish with 7th and 10th respectively.
