Obermeyer MCS Suzuki Race Team Announced

XC1 riders Ricky Russell and Chris Douglas to lead the Suzuki supported team.

Rod Marshall with MCS Racing and Keith Obermeyer with Obermeyer Suzuki Racing have combined their resources to form an alliance that is Obermeyer MCS Suzuki Racing. This team has partnered with Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. to compete in the most prestigious cross-country series in the world for the 2016 Grand National Cross Country Series. With the talent of Ricky Russell poised to compete in the Pro XC1 class aboard a 2016 Suzuki RM-Z450 alongside Chris Douglas, also on the championship winning Suzuki RM-Z450.

Chris Douglas, a regular on the GNCC circuit, has seen improving results since the mid seasons change over to the Suzuki RM-Z450. He has stepped his program up and is ready for a break out season in 2016 with the support of all the great companies serving as team sponsors and the support crew that he has in his pit.

Ricky Russell, who hails from the great state of Washington, has seen success on the West coast, as well as solid results in the Pro XC2 class. Ricky, who feels right at home on the 450 class machines, will be a contender for wins this coming season aboard the powerful 2016 Suzuki RM-Z450.

Racers will include Chris and Ricky in the Pro Class, Vince Smith from Nashville, Indiana and Duell Murphy from Huntington, Indiana.  Both Vince and Duell will contest the Open A class on the razor-sharp handling 2016 Suzuki RM-Z450.
